Healthy Eating Programme

To promote healthy lifestyle, following the GERMS GO AWAY play, the impact was further dosed with a EATING HEALTHY puppet show on 16th March 2010.
With lots of interactive activities, it is no wonder that the children were immersed into full participation. The pictures paint a thousand words of what I intent to share with you. Cheers, for your child(ren)is/are receiving the best that you've choosen for, simply because we do it for the best of all children!

Notices on HFMD & Rainy Days

Dear Parents,
HFMD (Hand-Foot-Mouth-Disease):
The Ministry has recently notified all Preschools about the recent spike in the number of HFMD cases.
Our school has been maintaining a very clean record from this disease in-so-far and over many years. We attribute this to the stringent hygiene and precaution that the parents observed at home and outdoor. On top of that, our school's strict protocol in preventing infectious disease further compliment the good effort of all parents. Lets continue to keep up the good practises so as to provide the best environment for all our children to be able to come to school everyday and have lots of fun learning and playing together.
Rainy Days:
In view of the recent inclement weather, the school would like to get your valuable constructive suggestions.
We trust that your helplessness and frustrating experience of getting out of your car with an umbrella on rainy days is equivalent to that of our attempts in trying to prevent your child(ren)from getting wet through the school gate without compromising to the safety of your child as well as every single child in the school.
We therefore, would like to hear from you on how we can convenient you.
Last but not least, the school management would like to further remind parents and guardian to ensure that the gate is completely closed once you've enter or exit from the school gate.
We strongly believe that safety and hygiene are the responsibilities of all parties and cannot be compromised at all time.
Meanwhile,in case of heavy rain, the school Principal will assign a staff to open the swing gate from 7:50am to 8:10am, 12:50 to 1:10pm and 5:25 to 5:35pm.
Gentle reminder: School programme begins at 8am and ends at 1pm (1/2 day) or 5:30pm(full day).
Also,we are pleased to share with you on how actively involved our pupils are despite the heavy rain outdoor! Enjoy!
Best Regards Phyllis Koh Founder-Director, Phyllis' Riccia School
